ABOUT CELEBREATHE
There are so many powerful tools to stay grounded and content while facing our challenging realities.
Celebreathe provides a space for conversations, thoughts and feelings surrounding the social, ecological, spiritual and existential challenges of our time. These issues are so complex and interwoven that for many of us, it can simply feel like too much to handle. The result? Often, we feel anxious, stressed and overwhelmed and we can turn away and dissociate from reality.
Understandable, and a real shame because…
Only when we face reality, can we make true attempts at addressing the challenges. And there are so many powerful tools and experiences to help us stay grounded and content while confronting them.
Experiences such as:
Breathwork to feel calm and grounded in daily life.
Dinner & Dialogue events to feel informed and inspired.
Singing Retreats to feel joyful and alive.
Active Hope Circles to feel resilient, playful and empowered.
Celebreathe intends to create events where we come together offline to learn, connect and experience. Celebreathe is solo organiser of Breathwork events, all other events are either co-created with others or supported by Celebreathe.
A BIT MORE ABOUT ME
Celebreathe is an initiative by Juliette Westerink (1993), breathwork coach, facilitator, trainer and event organiser and an endless idealist.
I have had the benefit of a typical Western European upbringing and education, which has been full of many good experiences. And yet, I have found it has not taught me how to live in deep connection and harmony with the Earth, oneself, each other and our communities. I have felt compelled to find this deeper meaning through new experiences and techniques and by listening to and learning from other cultures which value these aspects of life more.
Throughout my 20’s I have, at times, felt genuinely sad, anxious or numb about the state of the world. To the point where I have questioned and still sometimes question how to live my life in a meaningful way. A state you maybe might recognise? This feeling of despair combined with a natural curiosity for trying out new things, and a privilege to be able to do so, has led me to seek out many different experiences and activities that have given me joy and a strong sense of connection and purpose. All the activities I share with Celebreathe have supported me in finding a stronger sense of hope and a deeper connection in life. I look forward to sharing these experiences with others and with you, in the hope that they bring you the same joy and benefits.
