ACTIVE HOPE CIRCLES
How to Face the Mess We're in Without Going Crazy
Active Hope Circles is about finding, and offering, our best response when facing concerns about our world situation. The Active Hope Circles in Amsterdam are a group of people who together go through different practices, which stem from The Work that Reconnects (with Joanna Macy as root teacher) as well as many others sources including Thich Nhat Hanh & Plum Village tradition. These practices represent deep ecology philosophy, systems thinking and buddhism and are used worldwide by many. They allow for a space where we can voice our fears and concerns about the world without being judged. They can support us in shifting our perspective and transform our concerns into resilience, creativity, joy and action.

Meet the initiatior and facilitor behind A’dam Active Hope Circles:
-
Marjorie Lumet is the initiator and facilitator of the Active Hope Circles. Marjorie believes that by living in harmony with ourselves, others and nature we invite joy and purpose to our lives. Her medicine is creating a healing and nourishing space within which she invite others to experience mindfulness, nature connection and deep ecology practices in community. She shares this powerful medicine in everything she is and does: deep ecology gatherings (e.g. Active Hope Circle), mindfulness trainings, guided nature walks and 1 on 1 coaching.
